**Salary:** $35.71 - $39.68 per hour

**Job Description:** As a Clinical Nurse Educator at Wellpath, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall effectiveness of our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining an effective staff education program, including planning and coordinating individualized orientations for all nursing staff and facilitating continuing education programs.
  • Coordinating hospital-wide employee orientation and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring ongoing competence through assessment and documentation.
  • Serving as a resource to nurses regarding clinical practice, ensuring staff competencies and clinical competencies are met.
  • Collaborating with the Training Coordinator and Performance Improvement and Compliance Administrator to schedule education classes and ensure adequate care and documentation.
  • Staying updated on trends and developments in the field by attending seminars and conferences, actively participating in meetings, and reviewing and revising policies as needed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Graduate degree from a National League of Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing.
  • At least two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
  • A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Basic Life Support Instructor and maintenance of certification in basic life support (BLS) as a health care provider.

**Estimated Salary Range:** Based on the location and salary range provided, we estimate that the annual salary for this position could be between $74,000 and $82,000.
