Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at InBloom Autism Services. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing life-changing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with Autism in home-based and center-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA/BCaBA to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, such as homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
  • Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA/BCaBA to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and make necessary adjustments to the intervention plan when required.
  • Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
  • Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smartphone.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members.
