Compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for Home Health Care

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality speech and language services to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Speech Language Pathologist with us will include:
- Evaluating, directing, and providing speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility.
- Participating in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
- Utilizing professional skills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate, and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions.
- Administering and interpreting diagnostic tests and applications of therapeutic treatments, including audio logic screening.
- Observing, recording, and reporting changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment to supervisor and/or physician.
- Providing instruction and training to patients in the use of alternative communication systems when appropriate.
- Providing counsel and instruction to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
- Have a minimum of six months' experience as a speech therapist/speech-language pathologist.
- Have Home Health experience.
- Hold a current and unrestricted license.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Possess good organizational and communication skills.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $76,800 - $105,800 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401(k) retirement savings plan, employee assistance program, business travel and accident insurance.
