Emergency Department Clinical Leader

Salary Range: $130,000 - $135,000 per year
Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, providing clinical and administrative leadership to ensure high-quality patient care. This includes coordinating patient care and outcomes, allocating resources, communicating with stakeholders, and promoting patient throughput. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for program development, staff selection and retention, performance appraisal, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Five years of nursing experience in a hospital setting, with three years in Emergency Nursing care.
- Three to five years of progressive management or supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area.
- Current License in New York State as a Registered Nurse required.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Masters degree required; BLS & ACLS certification also required.
