Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland. As a Resident Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our memory impaired residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining their dignity and promoting independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents' rights and maintain accurate records of care.
• Report any changes in resident condition to the supervisor, including evidence of illness, changes in behavior, and personal care needs not being met.
• Promote community activities and encourage residents to participate.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a care-giving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.
