Behavioral Health Nurse

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Assess disease condition, provide patient care based on practice guidelines, and execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions.
- Monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
- Delegate tasks as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act and refer to/consult with physicians and other health providers as needed.
- Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems.
- Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
- LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure.
- 1 year of relevant work experience.
