Job Description

Sr. Territory Sales Manager

A results-driven Sales Director is sought to lead the Territory Sales team in delivering exceptional sales performance and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong background in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored sales solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and ensure the team remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a proven track record of success in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and team development.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex sales data and develop actionable insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the CPG industry and market trends.

  • A competitive salary range of $123,300 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience.
