Student Assessment Coordinator

Job Summary



The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Student Assessment Coordinator to join our team in the School of Medicine. As a key member of the Assessment, Curriculum and Evaluations (ACE) Unit, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the student assessment program.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement assessment timelines for each academic year, in collaboration with the Associate Dean for Assessment, Improvement, and Accreditation.
  • Manage multifaceted communications with stakeholders across the UCSF campus, ensuring timely and effective information exchange.
  • Abide by School of Medicine policies and procedures for tracking student progression in the Bridges Curriculum.
  • Partner with the Associate Dean for Assessment, Improvement, and Accreditation to serve as the project manager for the overall program of assessment.
  • Coordinate medical student learners' experiences on away rotations and in study courses, ensuring seamless integration with the curriculum.
  • Manage the purchasing and proctoring of practice licensing exams for medical student learners, tracking completion data and generating reports on findings.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills, including active listening and critical thinking.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements, as well as health professions education program requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background.
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and attention to detail, with the ability to complete work and meet established deadlines.
