We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with night shift hours (7p-7a) offering competitive benefits and a premium night shift differential. As a Registered Nurse on our surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care after surgery, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care according to established standards of practice, prioritizing individual needs and tailoring interventions to meet unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate records, coordinate transfers, and facilitate smooth handovers.
  • Maintain open communication channels with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to address concerns, provide education, and foster positive relationships.
Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current RN license in good standing within the United States.
  • An Associate's Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
