About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Early Childhood in our school setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consultation, training, conducting behavioral evaluations and developing/implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools and will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in the English language and computer literacy. A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Teaching, Psychology or a related field and current BCBA certification from the BACB are essential requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and educational assessments, accurately identifying the function of challenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships and provide training to school staff to implement effective applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Investigate concerns and provide coaching and disciplinary action when appropriate.
  • Determine prevention, intervention and consequence strategies utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods.
  • Collect, analyze and report data and other documentation within established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy per contract guidelines.
  • Attends and presents behavioral progress at IEP meetings.
