Paint Preparation Specialist

The Tesla Collision Repair Program is seeking a skilled Paint Prepper to support our team in preparing vehicles for paint application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from vehicle surfaces using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters
  • Assist the painter in pre-paint blending needs
  • Work with the paint team to ensure vehicles are prepared for scheduled delivery times
  • Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare vehicles for painting
  • Buff and wax the finished paintwork
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths
  • Detail vehicles ready for delivery to customers

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in the vehicle paint process, I-CAR certifications, and a valid driver's license.
