Job Summary:


Family & Community Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Clinical Support Staff to join our team. This role plays a critical part in delivering quality medical care within our community health center.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct pre-visit planning and prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient office visits, including rooming patients and documenting vital signs.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by medical staff.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Follow OSHA regulations for hazardous materials and maintain a safe environment.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and responding to patient requests.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and efficient operations.

Requirements:



  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift and move clinical equipment and supplies.
