We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Imaging Technologist to join our team in New Jersey. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations and administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort during scans.
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast.
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records.
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Experience in CT scanning and diagnostic imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
