MRI Supervisor

As a key member of the University Medical Center of El Paso team, the MRI Supervisor will oversee a wide range of MRI procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor MRI Technologists to ensure they meet the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Develop and implement department-specific systems to improve patient care and quality of service.
- Coordinate activities to enhance the quality of patient care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 6 years of experience as an MRI Tech, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- ARRT (MR) certification and CPR certification required.
- MRT and ARRT (R) certifications preferred.
- Associates of Applied Sciences in Radiology required.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Ability to use automatic injectors.
