Job Description

At PM2CM, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Office Engineer to join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our clients. As a key member of our office engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating office engineering activities for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate office engineering activities for construction projects
  • Assist in the review and analysis of project plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and consultants
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and RFIs
  • Coordinate and track project submittals, approvals, and transmittals
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status
  • Resolve project issues, conflicts, and discrepancies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction management of commercial and/or public or educational facility construction projects with values in excess of $15M
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards
  • Understanding of project scheduling and cost control

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)
  • Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design process
