Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and admission process for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Admission: Verify patient insurance benefits, check for pre-certification, authorization, and referral requirements, and secure patient signatures for required hospital forms.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, quality customer service, timely resolution to customer problems, and coordination of services to all customers.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Communicate revenue cycle-related issues to patients, physicians, physician office staff, and other hospital colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Rotate into various areas of Patient Access and work a variety of shifts to support the team's efforts.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalency.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in insurance verification and medical office/hospital customer service.
