The Pea Ridge School District seeks an experienced and organized Administrative Assistant to support the principal and facilitate communication with students, parents, and staff.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the principal, including managing records, handling correspondence, and coordinating events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality.

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can provide exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone. The successful candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time position with benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the principal, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both physical and digital.
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and appointments, including scheduling and reminders.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information, maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with data entry, including student attendance and demographic information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or district administration.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school transcripts or certification.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
