SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. The Neuro Surgical Trauma Step-Down team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho, is looking for a new member to join the team. Job DescriptionA day in the life of an SDU RN can look like:
- Utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Providing next level care for neurological patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment
- Caring for post operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders
Delivering high-quality nursing care in our 17-bed SDU, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients. Collaborating closely with a team of skilled nurses to deliver care to our patients, ensuring a supportive and compassionate environment. Implementing evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
RequirementsWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who currently holds an Idaho or multistate RN license. If you have a multistate license, you would need to establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire. You must also have your Basic Life Support certification and be willing to obtain your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire and your Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire.
