At Otis, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in the development and support of our Otis Gen3 product.

About the Role

This position involves providing design and support for the Otis Gen3 product. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain product integrity, evaluate design opportunities, and integrate new component designs into existing systems while meeting agreed-upon cost and schedule commitments.

The typical responsibilities of this role include structural analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a wide range of elevator components. A strong mechanical engineering background with experience working in a cross-functional team environment is essential.

Key Requirements
  • Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design)
  • Creo / Pro Engineer
  • Mechanical structural analysis with Ansys or other FEA Software
  • Design documentation with Mathcad
  • Hands-on testing experience
  • Strong communications and leadership ability
  • Experience with test and measurement equipment
  • Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

About the Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide comprehensive benefits packages, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
