Job Summary

The Physical Therapist restores patient's function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy services in the home and healthcare facility setting. This role requires a licensed Physical Therapist with a strong understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide hands-on therapy services to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • A minimum of one year experience in hospital or outpatient therapy settings.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Dakota.
  • A valid driver's license and insurability by Avera Health's automobile liability insurance carrier.
