As a key member of the Hologic team, the Principal Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in defining and developing technical platforms and system specifications for the company's top-tier products. This position requires a strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies and the ability to lead architectural discussions and engineering activities.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on hardware and software integration in complex systems. They will be responsible for maintaining expert understanding of products and clinical use for next-generation development, ensuring design reflects intended purposes, and collaborating on design changes. Additionally, they will serve as the primary system architect for new product development, influencing product framework, and driving continuous learning, improvement, and ideation.

The Hologic Principal Systems Engineer will lead complex design projects and product roadmaps, recognized as a technical expert, and provide multi-layered technical expertise. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural designs and emerging technologies, identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses. Furthermore, they will advise and mentor peers, promoting learning, creativity, and innovation.
