Structural Assembly Technician

As a Structural Assembly Technician at Gulfstream, you will be responsible for performing a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department following established operating procedures. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, as well as varied drilling and riveting operations.
• Ensure parts/assembly meet requirements and are completed to a high standard of quality.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type, size, and hole pattern for rivets.
• Check all work and ensure a defective-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience preferred.
• Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam is a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic computer skills and basic shop math skills required.
• Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math.
• Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
• Must be able to work any shift and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
