Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Process patient information, including demographic data and prescription details
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication dispensing
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions
