About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical API Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at IT Vision Group.

Job Description

This role will involve working on manual testing, test planning, and execution of software integration and formal software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test planning, smoke, functional, system test, End-to-End, UAT, and regression testing
  • Developing test procedures, scripts, and test stimuli to support software integration and formal software testing
  • Executing Test scripts/cases, reporting defects, and supporting development for training
  • API testing experience with tools such as SOAPUI and POSTMAN
  • Knowledge of SOA architecture model (synchronous/asynchronous) and Basic SQL (DML)
  • UAT support and building/ executing regression suites
  • Providing test execution summaries and reports to leads

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • API Testing; SoapUI; XML APIs; Atlassian: JIRA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Medicaid providers, member enrollments, claims, EDI business areas
  • Background on test automation with object-oriented programming languages

Salary Information:

Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
