Automotive Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at the Sewell Family of Companies. As a technician, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, as well as communicating with the service team regarding repairs. You will also be responsible for monitoring repair time and updating service advisors regularly, maintaining adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation, and completing story and/or documentation for client repairs. Additionally, you will assist in mentoring technician trainees and attend company and factory training.

Responsibilities:

* Examine, diagnose, and repair vehicles
* Communicate with service team regarding repairs
* Monitor repair time and update service advisors regularly
* Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
* Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
* Assist in mentoring technician trainees
* Attend company and factory training

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
* Factory certifications preferred
* GM certifications or experience preferred
* Dealership or automotive repair experience
* Valid driver license
* State Inspection license is a plus
* Completion of drug screening and background screening
* Provide all government I-9 requirements
