About the City of Concord

The City of Concord is seeking a part-time Senior Citizen Coordinator to assist in the planning, organizing, and running of our senior citizens program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates events for senior citizens at both the Concord and Penacook locations.
  • Assists in gathering program surveys, compiling results in Excel, and preparing reports using Microsoft Word.
  • Ensures timely completion of required paperwork, such as contracts, time sheets, attendance reports, and maintenance reports.
  • Follows established procedures regarding accidents, discipline, or facility problems.
  • Establishes positive public relations for the Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Concord.

Requirements:

  • A combination of education and experience working specifically with senior citizens will be considered.
  • Applicants must have current Red Cross First Aid and Infant & Child CPR certification.
  • All applicants aged 18 and above will be required to pass a criminal background check.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
