Engineering Assistant Role

ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled Engineering Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and be able to complete tasks assigned by the Engineering group/Operations Manager in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops, creates, and reviews electronic process sheets.
  • Pulls customers drawings and specifications from customer files for use in developing process sheets or Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
  • Participates in the Material Review Board process as a backup or when needed.
  • Creates generic drawings for internal use to enhance process sheets.
  • Performs testing on product when expertise is needed.
  • Trains and assists Lab Supervisor in the operation of the Test Lab.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
  • Associates degree in a technical or mechanical field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of excel and word is required.
  • Drafting experience is a plus.
