Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Inspector - Electrical Panel Assembly to join our team at Micro Tech Staffing - Stoughton.

This is a full-time opportunity working 6:45am-3:15pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime offered every day.

The salary for this position is estimated to be $20-$26 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Inspector - Electrical Panel Assembly, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and understanding blueprints and schematics to assemble, rework, and reassemble units
• Ability to read and understand mechanical diagrams and instructions provided
• Assembling switches and related equipment
• Building components using proper tools provided
• Ability to build electrical panels using proper power tools and hardware
• Using hand tools such as soldering irons and grinding tools
• Component and wire preparation, soldering, and molding
• Wire and cable preparation and finishing
• Performing spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards
• Notifying management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
• Adhering to safety procedures as outlined by company policy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
• Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
• Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions
• Experience with cable assembly – hand tools, crimping, testing
