Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities
  1. Check physician requisitions for complete information on procedures requested;
  2. Review patient charts to obtain pertinent clinical history, correlative test results, and laboratory data;
  3. Position patients for examination, explain procedures, and provide necessary instructions;
  4. Operate ultrasound equipment to its full capability, selecting proper transducer frequency and diameter for examinations;
  5. Recognize diagnostic quality scans and artifacts from anatomic/pathologic structures visible on oscilloscopes;
  6. Process images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS);
  7. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills;
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
  • Certification in sonography;
  • Current CPR certification;
  • Graduate of an accredited sonography program;
  • Two years or more experience/training in diagnostic ultrasound in at least two specialty areas;
  • Extensive experience with available ultrasound equipment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
