Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide companionship care to an elderly lady with mild dementia in NorthEast Houston. The ideal candidate will have a heart for seniors and be able to provide assistance with showering, light housekeeping, and companionship.

The caregiver will be responsible for assisting the client with daily tasks, including meal preparation, light laundry, and mobility assistance. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

The caregiver will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the client, including enforcing health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents
  • Assist with mobility around the house or outside
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications:

  • Caregiver with a heart for seniors
  • Pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 6 months)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent or Experience as a Caregiver (CNA preferred)
