Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist at Ascension, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, ensuring prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, and maintaining equipment functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to provide quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS, including correct lead markers and patient data/history.
• Maintain equipment functionality, reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel, and locking/tagging out equipment as needed.

Requirements:

• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• General Radiography is also required in addition to Nuclear Medicine. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
