Job Summary:

Carle Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring outpatient cardiac rehab and performing non-invasive cardiovascular exams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement exercise programs for cardiac patients in phase 2 and 3 of cardiac rehabilitation
Collaborate with the patient's care team to ensure services are consistent with post-op and/or post-hospitalization care
Evaluate and revise the plan of care as needed in collaboration with the RN and physician
Provide health education and teaching for patients and families
Complete required feedback and communication to patients and the healthcare team

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Basic Life Support (BLS) and AACVPR - Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) or ACSM - Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) or (ACSM) Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist
Experience in cardiac rehab setting preferred
