Transforming Healthcare through Quality Improvement

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Improvement Consultant to join our Opioid Prescriber Safety & Support program. As a member of our Health Services Team, you will play a key role in driving sustainable healthcare transformation and improving patient safety.
Job SummaryThis is a 100% remote position that requires a strong passion for healthcare quality improvement, clinical expertise, and exceptional communication skills. You will work closely with our team to analyze gaps in healthcare performance, develop innovative strategies, and implement evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities- Analyze and drive quality improvement using LEAN continuous improvement methodologies, project/change management skills, and clinical expertise.
- Assess gaps in healthcare performance, provide consultation, and ongoing evaluation of hospital and provider performance.
- Develop strategies for improvement, facilitate prioritization of improvement activities, make recommendations, and ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
- Provide pain-related education and support to clinicians and peers.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on the development, alignment, and execution of strategies to engage physicians, providers, and the clinical community in healthcare QI efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum four years' experience providing pain-related education to clinical peers and/or patients (Active Pain Management Nursing Certification or Certified Pain Educator desired but not required).
- Equivalent of five years' experience in nursing and/or program administration, QI, and/or patient safety, healthcare analytics, infection prevention, care management, or driving clinical transformation initiatives in a healthcare setting.
- Strong background in clinical quality reporting standards for ambulatory care, healthcare management, clinical measurement reporting, and evidence-based medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
