Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Railroad Operations Supervisor to join our team in Evansville, IN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe execution of rail projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site coordination and ensure that all projects are executed safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, train crews, and other personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct thorough job briefings and enforce all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve any rule violations or issues that may arise during project execution.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Class 1 Railroad, Regional Short Line, Transit System, State DOT Rail Division, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of railroad engineering, design, construction, and safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel extensively, sometimes for extended periods of time.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
