Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Pro Mach, Inc. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for reading electrical schematics, building control panels, terminating panels, installing field wiring, debugging, and troubleshooting systems, as well as redlining electrical prints.
Key Responsibilities:- Read electrical drawings and understand electricity, including low-voltage (PLC inputs, outputs) and high-voltage systems, symbols, and circuitry.
- Build electrical control panels, including reading and understanding electrical engineering drawing sets, dimensions, and knowledge of electricity and safe practices.
- Terminate panels, including low and high-voltage wires back to the main panel(s) and/or junction boxes.
- Install field wiring, including mounting various sensor types, industrial cameras, and barcode readers.
- System debug, working with lead Mechanical and Controls Engineers to achieve desired performance levels.
- Troubleshoot systems, using various tools and instruments to find and fix electrical problems.
- Redline electrical prints, catching and documenting mistakes in electrical drawings sets, wiring the system correctly, and documenting mistakes.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong understanding of safe electrical practices and ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and interpret complete electrical engineering drawing sets, including high and low voltage (PLC I/O, Ethernet, and safety circuits).
- Ability to read and interpret bill of materials (BOMs).
- Ability to use Microsoft Word or other word editors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to take direction well.
- Winning, team-player mentality.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Knowledge of how to operate a calculator and computer.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools, including cordless drill, pneumatic tools, socket set, wrenches, open end and box end, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Ability to travel up to 5%-10%.
