Dental Care Provider Assistant

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant I, II, or III to join our team. As a vital member of our dental care team, you will assist in delivering exceptional patient care and support services.
About the Role:
- Assist dental providers in various procedures, including Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery, as per the WA State Dental Practice Act.
- Maintain accurate records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore tests, and inventory management.
- Participate in training new dental assistants and schedule organization to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid WA State license, basic life support (BLS) certification, and organizational skills are mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English are essential.
- PREFERRED: Bilingualism in Spanish or Russian, previous ortho experience.
Additional Requirements:
- As a Dental Assistant II, a formal education in Dental Assisting and 6 months of work experience are required.
- For Dental Assistant III, knowledge of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, along with 2 years of work experience, are necessary.
Estimated Salary Range:
$21.69 - $23.57 hourly, based on location and qualifications.
