Overview

We are seeking a skilled Trauma Surgeon to join our team at a leading hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to take on a challenging role and make a meaningful impact in the field of trauma care.

Schedule

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, with three evening shifts per week from 4pm-7am. They will also be on call over weekends, working 7am-7am.

Practice Setting

This is a full-time position at a busy level 1 trauma hospital, with an average of 5 trauma surgical cases per day. The hospital has a high annual ER volume of 80,000 patients, with 35% of these patients being admitted to the hospital.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must be board certified and have completed fellowship training in trauma surgery. They must also hold an active CT license and possess ACLS certification. Local candidates are preferred, but not essential. Additionally, verbal confirmation of DEA status is required as part of the hiring process.

Benefits
