About the Position

The Long Term Acute Care RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide direct patient care to 5-6 patients per shift, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet individual needs">
  • Monitor and administer medications, educating patients and family members on surgical processes and management of illnesses or injuries">
  • Interpret telemetry readings, notifying medical team members of any irregularities">
  • Maintain accurate electronic records, updating patient information as necessary">
  • Work effectively in fast-paced environments, adapting to changing circumstances and prioritizing tasks efficiently">
  • Perform duties required of a registered nurse at all times, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Active RN license in good standing">
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program">
  • BLS & ACLS certifications">
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in Long Term Acute Care settings">
  • Proficiency with specialized equipment used in patient care, including Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and Tele-strips">
