As a Medical Care Specialist in our MedSurg Acute unit at Covenant Hobbs Hospital, you'll apply your specialized training to deliver exceptional health care with human connection, making a positive impact every day.

About the Role:

  • Administer nursing care to patients within an assigned unit.
  • Supervise non-licensed nursing personnel.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Important Details:

  • This posting is for multiple openings of a LPN LVN, MedSurg Acute.
  • Available work status: Full Time.
  • Shifts available: Night.
  • Work schedule includes both Weekends and Weekdays.
  • This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled.
  • Hiring Bonus: Up to $6,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited licensed vocational school of nursing.
  • Annual education on current concepts in management of Heart Failure.
  • Upon hire: New Mexico Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year Cardiac Cath Lab Holding Area experience as an LVN in a Critical Care area.
