Job Summary

We invite highly qualified candidates to apply for our Music Instruction Faculty Pool at the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to teach Applied Music courses, mentor students, and contribute to the growth and development of our music program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Applied Music courses, including private lessons and ensemble instruction
  • Mentor students in their musical development and career goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and programs
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and events

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in Music, with a performance or jazz focus, and at least five years of significant professional performance experience. A master's degree in Music, with a performance or jazz focus, is also preferred. Additional experience in teaching at the college or university level is highly valued.

Estimated Salary Range

$46,000-$48,000 (9-month base salary, prorated for part-time work)
