Job Description

Aurora Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Business Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support for our applications and services throughout their entire lifecycle, focusing on increasing service quality and user satisfaction.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain our applications and services, as well as manage service providers to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Coordinate the technical feasibility of business requirements and identify IT demands to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain application documentation, including deletion, IT security, and IT architecture concepts, to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Manage the release, change, test, and license management of applications in operation, as well as approve the implementation of new releases.
  • Monitor services and plan the implementation of service KPI and SLA controlling to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Plan and control budgets for responsible applications to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensure technical and professional support for responsible applications, adhering to security standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Hold a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable field of study.
  • Possess several years of proven professional experience in IT service management.
  • Certification as an ITIL expert is desirable.
  • Have very good knowledge of current IT technologies, software architectures, and IT services as a service in accordance with ITIL.
  • Exhibit very high social competence and communication skills, confident appearance, and enthusiasm combined with a strong focus on quality, results, and customer orientation.
  • Be fluent in German and English.
