We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs, preparing vacant units for occupancy, and maintaining the organization of our maintenance shop.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% premiums paid for medical and dental insurance, basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, and an employee assistance program. Additionally, we provide a 401k match up to 6%, three weeks of paid time off, ten paid holidays, and a boots and tools reimbursement program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor and routine maintenance repairs, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy by general cleaning, painting, and other necessary tasks.
  • Maintain the organization of the maintenance shop, including inventory management and tool tracking.
  • Retain accurate records of repairs and punches, providing regular updates to management.
  • Assist in snow removal as necessary, working closely with colleagues to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform other duties as required, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintenance experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • A service mentality, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent attendance record.
