Cancer Treatment Nurse Specialist in Atlanta

Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care to patients with cancer. As an Oncology RN, you will work closely with our team of medical professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines
  • Assist with necessary referrals and scheduling appointments for treatment
  • Review lab values and maintain accurate dose records
  • Provide nurse visits and patient education
  • Triage patient calls and communicate effectively with patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time oncology experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN degree preferred
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred
