IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Kings Dominion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company networks and systems.

The IT Infrastructure Specialist will perform a wide range of technical and project management duties, including network design, implementation, security maintenance, and support. This is a highly technical and professional position that requires expertise in project management, network design, and overall knowledge of Client/Server, network, hardware, database, and software integrations.

1. Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the use of systems or applications to ensure efficient utilization, identify inadequate or inefficient systems, bottlenecks, performance problems, and suggest alternatives to reduce costs or increase efficiencies.
2. Documentation and Audits: Create and maintain documentation on systems, process flows, develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, checklists, and preventive measures as needed.
3. Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Technologies, including network communications both on-premises and within Azure and Office 365.
4. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with diverse teams across the company, internal divisions, and external vendors on support updates and project planning.
5. Technology Evaluation and Recommendation: Evaluate current or emerging technologies and use independent judgment to recommend solutions based on factors like cost, complexity, time, and overall efficiency value to the company.
6. Engineering Support: Provide engineering support to the IT teams at all of our other parks.

• Education: Associate's degree / vocational or technical school degree.
• Experience: 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Skills and Qualifications: Microsoft Technologies to include Active Directory, SQL, Client/Server, GPO, PowerShell, Office 365. Any IT Professional Certifications preferred.

This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits that include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
