Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Lancaster, PA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver high-quality patient care, working closely with RNs and physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to established protocols.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and address patient comfort and safety requirements.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessary.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment.
  • Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies.
  • Foster health and wellness by promoting preventive care measures and aiding with health assessments.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
  • Stay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS certification.
