About the Role:
At Randstad USA, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service by performing mechanical repairs and ensuring that material handling equipment is running at its full performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair, diagnose, and maintain all material handling equipment as assigned.
  • Communicate with customers on diagnosed repairs and obtain approvals.
  • Read work orders and observe equipment operation to determine malfunctions or problems.
  • Offer solutions to meet customer specifications.
  • Provide estimates when necessary.
  • Repair, service, recondition, or assemble equipment as approved.
  • Obtain necessary parts and work cooperatively with the Parts department staff.
  • Makes mechanical repairs after completing inspections and analyses.
  • Records repair descriptions on work orders, including model and serial numbers.
  • Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices and makes adjustments.
  • Lubricates moving parts and verifies conformance to specifications.
  • Maintains a professional image and cleanliness of the workspace.

Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Experience in forklift repair is desired, intermediate maintenance experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals and operating instructions.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
