Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurology team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with neurological conditions.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, primarily on night shifts. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, identifying patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, prioritizing patient safety and well-being
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and monitoring patient responses
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination
  • Participate in unit conferences and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts and Basic Life Support certification. A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is preferred, along with experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
