Dulles Airport Restaurant Shift Leader

We are seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team at Concessions International. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering superior guest service, leading employees, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. As a Shift Leader, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests with a smile, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Lead a team of employees, including training, coaching, and motivating them to achieve high performance standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of products.
- Conduct opening and closing duties, including cash management, inventory, stocking, and unit appearance.
- Assist with monitoring daily operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, reporting any incidents or hazards to management immediately.
- Support the training of associates to ensure that unit standards, sales, and customer service are maintained.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-2 years of previous customer service and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication skills, both individually and in small group situations.
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
