Job Overview

Catholic Charities School Readiness program, a NAEYC accredited institution, seeks an Early Childhood Education Specialist to lead our team of dedicated professionals in delivering high-quality educational services to children aged 2 years, 8 months to 5 years old.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education Specialist who can develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language skills, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development among our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and deliver curriculum-aligned programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring a smooth transition to kindergarten.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective classroom management and child care.
  • Communication and Partnership: Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through progress reports, meetings, and conferences to foster a collaborative approach to education.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to state, local, and agency policies, regulations, and procedures, prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of our students.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with at least three hundred sixty (360) hours of documented supervised experience working with unrelated preschool-aged children.
  • Qualifications: Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, excellent planning skills, and experience in motivating and managing personnel.
Compensation and Benefits
