At Ocean Front Counseling LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Autism Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with children who have Autism, helping them develop essential skills for communication, daily living, and socialization.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be committed to providing evidence-based therapies in a home setting. As an Autism Specialist, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to deliver a curriculum that has been determined as appropriate from formal assessments.
We are looking for someone who is able to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and pass the required examination within one month of joining the team. Our RBT class is 40 hours, and is 100% online. We will cover the class fee, application fee, assessment, and exam voucher.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based therapies to clients in their homes, schools, or clinics.
- Work collaboratively with BCBA to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collect unbiased and accurate data during therapy sessions.
- Proactively communicate with supervising BCBA for questions and feedback.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field to behavior analysis or education.
- Preferred one year experience working in a related field.
- Ability to obtain RBT certification.
